My second post today is in honor of grandmothers, who usually play an important role in the lives of their families. This was written in memory of my own grandma. I now own that biscuit bowl, which is full of memories. 🙂
This weekend, we honor all those hardworking, loving mothers everywhere. This poem was written in honor of my mother in particular, who worked very hard to raise her eight children. She has been the cement that holds our family together. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!
Please, don’t be offended. I have to admit, I have used this word myself.
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
